1st of August 2010 Well been a little preoccupied since the last update geez not the best 3 month period but all starting to get back on track now, looking forward to getting back into it all.
1st April 2010 Just received comfirmation that Football West ( Western Australia ) will be supporting us too and have placed the story on their wenbsite and will be donating some gear. Thanks to Football West and everyone that has helped so far.
25.03.2010 Football NSW which covers football from the Victorian border to out west all throughtout Sydney up to Newcastle are on board donating gear for the kids and have put my story on their website, thanks very much Sue, Adam and Mark form Football NSW for your support.

13.02.2010 Fatastic day at the the Byron Bay Rec ground for the Byron FC Rideforsmiles 6 a side day. A Special thanks to Hans Enter, Peter Keenan from Keenan Electrical and Alex with all their help getting things set up. Also Thanks to Craig Pruul Kordon Pest Control for his help and the donation of the trophies for the day and lastly thanks to all the players who turned up and for your donations you made for the kids. Great work everyone and thanks again.
Our Goals at Ride For Smiles
- To have an amazing adventure.
- Bring smiles to not just ourselves but to the kids of Ethiopia and beyond while riding motorcycles through Africa.
- Raise football / soccer equipment for the kids in schools in Ethiopia
- Matt Stockdale from Link Ethiopia is trying to set up a competition between a dozen schools in the Gondar region in the North of Ethiopia but they need kits and equipment to help get this up and running.
- Raise money for the kids in schools in Ethiopia to help them in building better facilities and implementing projects to help the students.
- Link schools here in Australia and around the world to schools in Ethiopia.
- To raise awareness and collect dontations for Riders for Health.
